Creole Truffle Fries
Serves: 2
|
Ingredients:
-
3 Russet potatoes
-
Black truffle-infused olive oil
-
Freshly grated parmesan
-
Minced parsley
-
Creole seasoning
I created this recipe for one of my best friends/roommate's golden birthday celebration! There are two versions: one made entirely from scratch, which has the best results but is a little more time-consuming. The other version uses frozen fries, which is a bit more practical and saves some time. I chose the frozen fry recipe for my friend's birthday dinner to save time since we had two courses planned. However, both variations produce great results and are definitely worth trying!
01
Peel and cut potatoes
-
Wash and peel three potatoes.
-
Cut the potatoes into thin slices, or use a mandoline to create even slices.
02
Soak
-
Place potato slices into an ice-cold bowl of water.
-
Leave for 30 minutes.
-
Drain and season with black truffle-infused olive oil and creole seasoning.
03
Air-fry
-
Pre-heat the air fryer to 380 degrees F.
-
Place small batches into the airfyer at a time. Be sure to keep them distanced so that they can crisp up.
-
Cook for 13-15 minutes and then repeat with the next batch.
04
Garnish
-
After all the fries are done, place them back into the air fryer all together for 2 minutes to warm them back up.
-
Garnish with freshly grated parmesan and minced parsley for added flavor.
Enjoy!
