If you are looking for the beef to be more tender, slice each piece in half or in thirds. (This will also shorten the cooking time)

Angus beef

  1. Add vegetable oil to a large sauce pan or wok at medium-high heat.

  2. Once the pan is ready, add the beef in.

  3. Season the beef with garlic, onion powder, and kosher salt.

  4. Spread out the meat so that it isn't overcrowded (this leads to steaming instead of searing).

  5. Let sit for about 3-5 minutes or until the bottom becomes brown with signs of char. Remember, do not bother the meat once it touches the pan. To check for doneness, use a meat thermometer or check an individual piece.

  6. Once ready, flip each piece over one by one and sear for 3-5 minutes on the other side.

  7. Once finished, pour into a separate bowl.

  1. Chop broccoli, cauliflower, white onion, zucchini, and squash into equal-sized pieces. You can also add other veggies like mushrooms, red peppers, and snow peas.

  2. Chop ginger and add to the pan or wok. (Again, at high heat).

  3. Add onions first, and then add the rest of the veggies.

  4. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, and sesame seeds.

  5. Sauté until the broccoli is dark green in color.

  6. Mix in barbecue stir-fry sauce.
